Mini-Split Diagnostics

Last updated:

Ductless and multi-zone systems report faults as a two-character code on the remote or as a blink pattern on the indoor unit. This section covers the codes GridComfort can read from a manufacturer's own service manual, family by family, and says which families are not covered.

What is covered

Coverage is per manual, not per brand. A Daikin service manual covers a named list of indoor and outdoor model numbers; a code table read from it is valid for those model numbers and nothing else. Where a family is not in a manual we hold, the page says so instead of presenting a general "Daikin codes" list that would be wrong for half the units it reached.

Sections

Two older brand guides live in the mini-split section: how Fujitsu indicator lamps report a code and what the symbols on a Mitsubishi remote mean. Neither is a code table, and neither is being converted into one in this release.
